CANCELLATION POLICY
CONSULTATIONS
At ERĒMIA, we understand that life can sometimes bring unexpected changes. To ensure transparency, we’ve outlined our consultation cancellation policy below:

Cancellation by Our Team:
In the rare event that we need to cancel your consultation (including technical difficulties on our end for instance with online consultations), you will, of course, receive a full refund of any amount already paid, or your appointment will be rescheduled free of charge.

No-Show:
Your time is valuable, and so is ours. If you miss your scheduled consultation without prior notice, the full amount will be charged (or retained if already paid), as this time was reserved exclusively for you.

Cancellation or Rescheduling:
You can cancel or reschedule your appointment directly via the confirmation email you received when booking. This email also contains the contact details of your therapist.-
Should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment less than 48 hours in advance, you will be charged half of the original amount.

Conversely, if you cancel or reschedule your appointment more than 48 hours in advance, you will not be charged with any costs, and in the case you've already paid for the session, you will receive a full refund.

BREATHE & HELD
At ERĒMIA, we uphold transparency and fairness in all our interactions, including in the rare instance of cancellation from our side. Here's how we handle cancellations:

Cancellation from Our Side:
If, for any reason, we determine that you can no longer participate in the session, rest assured that the full amount paid will be refunded to you.

If You Cancel Up to Two Weeks:
In the event that you choose to cancel your participation up to 2 weeks before, the full amount paid will be refunded to you.

If You Cancel Between One and Two Weeks Before:
Half of the paid amount will be refunded to you. This partial refund is due to the possibility that we may not be able to fill your spot at such short notice.

If You Cancel Less Than One Week Before:
Regrettably, if you cancel less than one week before, we will not be able to issue a refund. This is because it becomes increasingly challenging for us to fill your spot in such a limited time frame.
RETREATS
At ERĒMIA, we uphold transparency and fairness. Because our retreats involve significant upfront costs (location, team, and logistics), we offer two paths for cancellation: our Standard Policy and our optional Participation Safeguard.
1. General Terms

Administrative Fee: For every confirmed registration, a non-refundable administrative fee of €30 is charged. This covers the essential coordination and preparation by our team.

Cancellation from Our Side: If ERĒMIA cancels a retreat or determines you cannot participate, you will receive a 100% refund, including the administrative fee.
2. Standard Cancellation Policy (Default)
If you choose not to purchase the Participation Safeguard, these terms apply strictly, regardless of the reason for cancellation (including illness or personal emergencies):

More than 30 days before start: Full refund of the retreat price (minus the €30 admin fee).

Between 30 and 14 days before start: 50% refund of the retreat price. No rescheduling or credits possible.

Less than 14 days before start: No refund, no credit, and no rescheduling possible.
3. ERĒMIA Participation Safeguard (Optional Add-on)
Participants who purchase the Safeguard (€145) are protected against serious, unforeseen life events (e.g., hospitalization, acute medical emergency, or loss of a close family member).
In the event of a documented emergency, the Safeguard allows:

More than 14 days before start: Your choice of a 75% cash refund OR a 100% Participation Credit for a future retreat.

14 days or less before start: A 100% Participation Credit for a future retreat (valid for 24 months).
Note: In case of medical issues objective documentation is required. To protect the integrity of our retreats, a standard "unfit for work" note is not sufficient; we require a specific medical confirmation of the inability to participate. The cost of the Safeguard itself is non-refundable. All credits are subject to availability.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION, PREPARATION DOCUMENT & RELEASE OF LIABILITY
After registering for our Psychedelic Pathways, you will receive a confirmation email with important practical and safety-related information. We encourage you to read this carefully and, if relevant, to discuss it during your intake or preparation conversations.
Once you have been approved as a participant and your retreat payment has been completed, you will receive a second confirmation email. This email will include the preparation document for the retreat, as well as the release of liability form, which you are required to sign and bring with you to the retreat.
A LEGAL DISCLAIMER
ERĒMIA responds to the curiosity, but also the demand and cry for help from European residents who want to have the ability to go through a supervised psychedelic experience with a personal psychologist or therapist.
The Netherlands permit the use of some psychedelics (e.g. psilocybin truffels).
We do not make any promises or mental health claims.
